Tables and QR Codes
Add your restaurant tables in DineomAI, generate a table-aware QR code for each one, and download branded or minimal printable codes instantly.
Guests order by scanning the code on their table. To set that up, you tell DineomAI about your tables, then print a code for each one. You manage tables at /admin/tables.
Add your tables
Add a table for each table in your restaurant. Name it however your staff already call it, like T1, T2, or "Patio 3". Use the names that make sense to your team.
You can edit a table to rename it, or delete one you no longer need.
Every table gets its own QR code
Each table automatically gets its own QR code. The code is table-aware, so it always knows which table it belongs to. When a guest scans it and orders, the kitchen sees the right table number with no guesswork.
Print your codes
View and print all your codes at /admin/qr. You choose how they look:
- Branded: your restaurant colours and logo on the code.
- Minimal: a clean black-and-white code.
Download a single code, or print them all in one go. Print one code per table and stick it on. There's no hardware to buy and nothing to wire up.
FAQ
How do I re-print a code for one table?
Open the QR page at /admin/qr, pick the table you need, and download or print just that code. You can do this any time, so if a code gets torn or stained, print a fresh one and stick it on.
What does a guest see when they scan?
The code opens the DineomAI chat for that table in the guest's phone browser. There's no app to download. They start chatting to order right away, and the order arrives at your kitchen tagged with their table number.
Do the QR codes expire?
No. A table's code stays valid as long as that table exists in DineomAI. You only need a new code if you add a table, rename one in a way you want reflected, or the printed sticker gets damaged.
What to do next
With your tables and codes ready, make sure your menu is in, then watch orders come in on the kitchen board.
