Guests order by scanning the code on their table. To set that up, you tell dineomAI about your tables, then print a code for each one. You manage tables at /admin/tables.

Add your tables

Add a table for each table in your restaurant. Name it however your staff already call it, like T1, T2, or "Patio 3". Use the names that make sense to your team.

You can rename a table any time, or delete one you no longer need, as long as it has no active orders.

Every table gets its own QR code

Each table automatically gets its own QR code. The code is table-aware, so it always knows which table it belongs to. When a guest scans it and orders, the kitchen sees the right table number with no guesswork.

View and print every code at /admin/qr. Pick a style, then print:

  • Branded: your restaurant's colours and logo framing each code.
  • Minimal: a clean black-and-white table tent with no branding.

Use Print / Save PDF to lay out every table's code at once, four to an A4 page. Cut them out and place one at each table. There's no hardware to buy and nothing to wire up.

FAQ

How do I re-print a code?

Open /admin/qr and choose Print / Save PDF. dineomAI lays out every table four to an A4 page, so print the sheet (or save it as a PDF) and cut out the one you need. If a code gets torn or stained, reprint and replace it.

What does a guest see when they scan?

The code opens the dineomAI chat for that table in the guest's phone browser. There's no app to download. They start chatting to order right away, and the order arrives at your kitchen tagged with their table number.

Do the QR codes expire?

No. A table's code stays valid as long as that table exists in dineomAI. You only need a fresh one if you add a table, rename one (use Regenerate all on the QR page, then reprint), or the printed copy gets damaged.
