Go-Live Checklist
Get your restaurant live on dineomAI the same day: log in, set tax, add your menu, create tables, print QR codes, and take a test order.
You can be taking orders the same day you sign up. There's no POS to integrate and no hardware to buy. Work through these steps in order and you'll be live, billing correctly from the first ticket.
1. Log in to the admin dashboard
Go to /admin/login and sign in with the email and password from your onboarding. This is your control panel for everything below. See logging in if you hit any trouble.
2. Set your tax and service charge
Open Settings and set your numbers before any real bill goes out. In the Ordering section you set your food GST percent, your alcohol VAT percent if you serve drinks, your service charge percent, and whether your menu prices already include tax or have it added on top. Getting this right now means every bill and your Day Close report add up from the first order. Optionally, turn on the waiter-confirmation gate so a staff member approves each order before it reaches the kitchen. The settings and branding guide walks through it.
3. Add your menu
Open the menu page and add your dishes. For each item, set a name, price, and category, and add a short description if you like. You can mark any item sold out later in a single tap. If you want food-cost and stock tracking, you can also link a recipe to a dish so it depletes ingredients as it sells (see inventory and stock).
4. Create your tables
Go to Tables and add a table for each one in your restaurant, named the way your staff already call them (T1, T2, or "Patio 3"). Each table gets its own QR code automatically. The tables and QR codes guide covers this.
5. Print and place your QR codes
Open the QR page, choose the branded or minimal style, and print. Stick one code on each table. Each code already knows which table it belongs to, so an order always shows the right table number on the kitchen board.
6. Take a test order and settle it
Scan a code with your own phone, place a small order, and watch it appear on the kitchen board. Move it from New to Preparing to Ready. Then open Payments, mark the bill paid, and pick a payment method. That's the full loop, from order to money. Once it works, you're ready for real guests.

What to do next
With the basics live, set up pairings and upsell so the AI starts growing your average ticket from day one. At the end of each day, run Day Close to reconcile your cash, payments, and tax. To track ingredient costs and usage, set up inventory and recipes.
